Steve Williams, President of the Wildlife Management Institute and former Director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service discusses his vision for the future of National Wildlife Refuge System. “As we go forward in the future of conservation, we know we that we’re going to be facing a lot of challenges, perhaps even more so than we ever have in the past. We think about habitat loss, contaminate issues, climate change issues, and water quality and quantity [issues] … the Refuge System will play an important role as we address these challenges.”
