The Conserving the Future Conference is an inspiring event created to embolden those in the conservation community dedicated to the management and promotion of national wildlife refuges. Attending this conference is a rare opportunity for employees, State and Federal agencies, partners, and Friends organizations.

Complete Your Registration

If you are an invited attendee to the conference in Madison, you should have received an invitation to register. You can access the registration website here. All registrations need to be completed as soon as possible.

Reserve Your Hotel

Unfortunately, the deadline to make reservations at the discounted conference rate has now passed, however some Madison hotels may still have availability during the conference. Please feel free to use the Greater Madison CVB website to find your accommodation. Please note that while shuttles are being provided to conference hotels not within walking distance, we will not be able to provide transportation to other locations. Some hotels that still have space may not be at the prevailing rates. If you prefer a hotel where other attendees will be staying, please find a list of those hotels below:

Be sure to present your tax ID # upon arrival to the hotel. They will be able to remove taxes from your bill.

Plan Your Travel

For travel planning purposes, the first official conference event is the Welcome Reception at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11. The final event is the Evening Closing Banquet on Thursday, July 14 from 6:00p.m. – 9:00p.m. There are optional field trips early on Monday and on Friday as well, so please plan according to what you select during the registration process.
