If the refuge staff has requested a mentoring visit, why would they need extra incentives to participate? If a station has identified a need for mentoring, the Project Leader needs to communicate the importance to her/his staff.

Especially those related to recruiting volunteers to fill refuge needs and not creating refuge needs/projects to satisfy volunteer interests. ViewWith NAI currently, but I’m not very active. I’ve been to the NAI conference and presented at a couple NAAEE conferences in my day. I just know they have tremendous development potential, esp for our younger visitor services folk.
